Discussion Real-World Context: Exponential Growth Of A Population

Our mission this week is to see the different applications of  calculus in action.  We will research and make connections to calculus  in Engineering through any of the methods applied during the term. 

Share an engineering (or other) application of differential  equations.  Identify the differential equation in math notation, an  image of a graph, or in a clear explanation in the context of the application.  You  do not need to explain the entire topic, only identify the differential  equation within this application and tell us some of what it  accomplishes here.

Assignment 6 involves updating your project plan by creating a stakeholder communication and management plan.

The stakeholder management plan, is a tool used by project managers to help keep a close eye on all stakeholders in the manner intended. You will be provided with a template to help you complete the information. In the stakeholder management template, you will identify the following:

• Stakeholder
• Level of Power or Influence on the project
• Impact Assessment that covers how they will be impacted by the outcome of the project
• Strategy assessment that defines how you plan to manage the stakeholder.

When completing the Stakeholder Management Template please keep in mind the details of the project, the level of interest of each stakeholder and consider the best interest of the project. Remember to include both internal and external stakeholders.

Next you will use the Communication Management template to determine your communication tools and techniques. Here you must also consider your project details and information. You must also keep in mind your project team and stakeholders.

Please use the template to help you cover the following information:

• Message: What are you communicating?
• Audience: Who is receiving the communication?
• Method: What are you using to communicate?
• Frequency: How often are you sending this communication?
• Senders: Who is responsible for distributing this information?

There are many different forms of communication in a project, try to cover as many as you feel are necessary for your chosen project.

For this assignment, please submit your completed templates for both the stakeholder management and communication management plan.

Week 8 Assignment – Business-Level and Corporate-Level Strategies

Write a 6-8 page academic research paper in which you include the following:

1. Assess the business-level strategies you believe to be most appropriate for the corporation’s long-term success. Support your position with specific evidence.

2. Assess the corporate-level strategies you believe to be most appropriate for the corporation’s long-term success. Support your position with specific evidence.

3. Analyze the competitive environment to determine the corporation’s most significant competitor. Be sure to include a comparison of the business-level and corporate-level strategies for both corporations.

. Based on your analysis, conclude which corporation is most likely to be successful in the long term. Support your determination with at least three pieces of evidence.

· Determine whether your corporation, or its most significant competitor, would differ in slow-cycle and fast-cycle markets. Support your position with specific evidence.

· Use three or more quality sources, including your textbook, to support your writing. Choose sources that are credible, relevant, and appropriate. Cite each source listed on your source page at least one time within your assignment. ( Note: Wikipedia and similar websites do not qualify as academic resources)
