Hypothesis Testing

Refer to your Huck text and the chapter titled, “Hypothesis Testing” (or some other source) and then provide the following information:

Based from the variables you presented in the second discussion write a Null and Alternate hypothesis.

  Ho: Null

  Ha: Alternate

The Huck text chapter on hypothesis testing offers many different examples of null and alternate hypothesis. Once you’ve stated your hypotheses, then read the final section of the chapter, The Meaning of Significance. Discuss whether or not you think the tests of your hypotheses may be significant in casual everyday language and in terms of statistical significance.

History And Background Of Autism

Discuss the importance of understanding the history and background of autism and how it has impacted ABA treatments for autism and the general guiding philosophy of ABA programs?  What has the history of autism taught us about pseudoscience like refrigerator mothers?

Your manager has informed you the company needs to consider small businesses as part of the contract solicitation process. Your company has just recently been asked to perform services for a government agency and consideration for small business participation in your company’s subcontract awards will be part of your company’s proposal to the agency

Using information from an Internet search on small business administration, discuss the benefits of considering small businesses in government contract solicitations, including the following:

• What benefits can be expected by your company if small businesses are considered in the subcontract solicitation process?
• To what extent will adding these requirements mean additional costs will be incurred in administration and reporting of compliance?

Comprehensive Literature Review

Assignment:

Now that you have successfully determined the potential steps to take when preparing and writing a comprehensive literature review, it is time to put some of your readings into action. 

1. Using a selective database (e.g., ERIC or ProQuest), you are to follow steps 1 through 4 in the text and collect a minimum of 10 specific articles, dissertations, books, white papers, etc., that may support your topic of interest that you presented in the earlier modules. 

2. Explain briefly how each selected reference supports the topic chosen for the research discussed during the first module.

4. Be sure to include each summary rationale as to what each selected reference adds to further knowledge on the subject.

You are also expected to share where any specific reference either supports or refutes another reference that has been included in the prepared Annotated Bibliography. Be sure to carefully follow the proper APA format rules when listing the reference before adding your descriptive information. 

For each bibliographical reference, provide a summary description of 150-200 words. Focus your description on the who, what, when, where, why, and how of the study.   

Assignment Expectations

Length: 1500 – words; answers must thoroughly address the questions in a clear, concise manner. 

Structure: Include a title page and reference page in APA style. These do not count towards the minimum word count for this assignment. 

References: Use the appropriate APA style in-text citations and references for all resources utilized to answer the questions. Include at least ten (10) scholarly sources to support your claims.

Format: Save your assignment as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx).

Filename: Name your saved file according to your first initial, last name, and the assignment number (for example, “RHall Assignment 1.docx”)

Research the proportion of women, African Americans, Native Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans and openly gay or lesbian members of Congress.

1. Reflect on what these patterns say about the nature of representation.

2. Why do some groups tend to be underrepresented in Congress?

3. Why do you see a trend in which more women and minorities are being represented?

4. Do you think the underrepresentation of women and minorities affect Congress’s business?

5. How might we as a people address this situation and strive towards equal representation? Make sure to cite sources used.
